MEET THE TEAM
Qingyan Wu (Yen)
Short order cook and absolute perfectionist
You’ll find Yen busy in the kitchen making breakfast, lunch, grab and go snacks, mouth-watering burgers and juicy steak sanga’s. The best way to a person’s heart is through their full belly! Yen knows exactly what you need, she has been an integral role to the business and a part of the family for almost 10 years!
Songling Liu (Kim)
Kitchen hand and aid to “The Boss”
Kim is a jack of all trades, one minute he’s in the sink throwing bubbles everywhere, next he’s playing Fruit Ninja® with all the fresh produce, we just can’t keep up, someone get this guy a medal.
Gail Henderson
Café Supervisor
You will find Gail running the show from the front of house, keeping the team on their toes and always having matters to attend to, she is a woman on a mission! Be sure to say hi, Gail’s always the spark of any conversation and provider of your daily dose of laughter.
Lorraine Congdon
Employee and Aussie Snacks’ prize possession
Lorraine has worked with the Schubert family for over 14 years! Lorraine is part of the package, she even tried to retire at one stage, something about wanting to enjoy her late 70’s and relax with her doggies. We even bought her a present and everything, then, a few months later she could not resist and returned back to normal duties! Nice try, Lorraine, nice try…
Angela Franson
Employee and Aussie Snacks’ second mum
Angela is a returning superstar from back in the day before she moved away, on what we call a holiday. But now she’s back in NT and here to stay, and what better way than to grace you with her presence every day! *this is me trying to be funny again…I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it!
Sumathi Duraivelu
Employee and Aussie Snacks’ personal memory book for names and orders
Sumathi takes pride in her work and is often found preparing everyone’s orders, even before they arrive! Did we mention she makes a mean coffee? The force is strong with this one…
Fieke Siemerink
Employee and Aussie Snacks’ international treasure
Hello! or as Fieke likes to say, Hoi!
All the way from the Netherlands, Fieke has travelled across the sea and country and found herself a new place to call home! Be sure to say hello, and if you speak a little Dutch, don’t be shy!
Heb een fijne dag! (Have a nice day!)
